A Ministry update and pancake breakfast fundraiser was held at Poroporone Baptist Church on October 31 at 8 am for all Mid-Tidewater Baptist Association churches. Those present were blessed with a hearty breakfast, followed by Pastor Emmanuel “Muss” Mustapha of Ghana who spoke of the progress made by More Than Nets Ministry. There have been 63,000 nets distributed in 250 Yendi villages (northern region of Ghana). We are at 63% fulfilling goal to distribute 100,000 nets. In addition to providing nets, this ministry educates the people how to use nets, (health, prevention and awareness of malaria) and has planted 235 new churches, led, trained, and provided intra-structure). One child dies every 30 seconds of malaria. Many of the people have never heard the name, Jesus Christ. Let’s continue to labor as God’s mouth, hands and feet.
“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Matthew 28:19.
