  Good Friends Say Goodbye: On March 3, 2016, Pastor Pedro Burgos and his wife Gladys stopped by the MTBA office in Saluda to say “Goodbye”.   Pastor Burgos has served faithfully as the pastor of La Iglesia El Camino  since 2000.  It was Dr. Jack Paterson who approached Pedro about uniting his church with the MTBA and it was a good union for both the church and the MTBA.  But now the time has come to  move to the next chapter in Pastor Burgos and Gladys’s ministry.  Because Continue reading →

“Serving , Cooperating, Sharing”

Monday, January 5, Saluda BC hosted a Red Cross Blood Drive. Some of the folks seen in the below picture served as greeters, servers, and hosts for those who came to participate in this community blood drive. They provided perfect space, food, and drinks for those who donated. Well done Saluda BC for your willingness to be one of MTBA’s Serving churches. MORE THAN NETS

 A Ministry update and pancake breakfast fundraiser was held at Poroporone Baptist Church on October 31 at 8 am for all Mid-Tidewater Baptist Association churches.   Those present were blessed with a hearty breakfast, followed by Pastor Emmanuel “Muss” Mustapha of Ghana who spoke of the progress made by More Than Nets Ministry.   There have been 63,000 nets distributed in 250 Yendi villages (northern region of Ghana).
