MTBA FALL ASSOCIATION MEETING – OCTOBER 16, 2016

MTBA Fall Association meeting was held on Sunday, October 16, 2016, at Hermitage Baptist Church. Several music concerts were played and sung. A message, “Fellowship, the Strength of MTBA”, was spoken by Pastor Michael Gray of Newington Baptist Church, Gloucester, and a message of “Remember Me” was by Pastor Dr. Jim Somerville of First Baptist Church in Richmond.  Following this celebration meeting, Hermitage Baptist Church graciously hosted the delicious meal. 2016 IMPACT MID-TIDEWATER

Impact Mission Camps was held July 24 – 30, 2016, has come and gone. The Impact partnership with the Baptist General Association of VA was a huge success. It took over a thousand people contributing in many different ways to make this effort work. Nine homes were repaired. We were all richly blessed! MTBA – PASTOR JONATHAN DAVIS OF URBANNA BAPTIST CHURCH

Our very own Pastor Jonathan Davis of Urbanna Baptist Church will portray John Waller, who was jailed in 1771 for “preaching without a license.” Event: Urbanna Third Founders’ Day: Saturday, September 3 begin at 11:00 am in the town of Urbanna! MTBA – READY FOR IMPACT MISSION CAMPS!

On Sunday, July 24, over one hundred high school and middle school students will come to the greater Middle Peninsula area to provide some much needed home repairs for members of our community. These student and adult volunteers will be working in the area for five days at eight different work sites, and will leave on Saturday morning, July 30.
