MTBA – MEAL PACKING – SEPTEMBER 22, 2018

On September 22, 2018, there were 50,000 nutritious meals packed by over 200 volunteers from MTBA churches in partnership with Rise Against Hunger organization.    Each meal of rice, soy, vegetables, vitamins and minerals feeds a family of six!  Our Community Ministries Action Group chose this mission for 2018.   Rise Against Hunger is driven by the vision of a world without hunger by 2030.   A big thank you to Hermitage Baptist Church (Church View) who hosted this event!  MTBA churches are located in the counties Continue reading →

MTBA – URBANNA BAPTIST CHURCH CALLS DR. BRUCE POWERS

Urbanna Baptist Church called Dr. Bruce Powers as their full time Pastor on Sunday, May 20, 2018.  Dr. Powers had served as their Interim Pastor since December 2016.  Under his leadership Urbanna Baptist Church has experienced an exciting broadening of missions and service within and beyond the walls of the church.  On July 22 an Installation Service was held (see pictures). MTBA – GRASSROOTS SEMINARY CLASSES

Want to learn more about the Bible?  Grassroots Seminary classes will begin in September 2018 on Monday nights, 15 sessions weekly to be taught by Dr. Brian Williams. Grassroots is for:  people who are being called, lay people and leaders in Church who will not go to Seminary  allows you to be mobile, meet anywhere  is about growing and walking with each other.  You are able to go places you would not be able to go without going to Seminary. MTBA – RISE AGAINST HUNGER – MEAL PACKING – SEPT. 22, 2018

MTBA WMU SPRING MEETING – 4-29-18

MTBA SPRING GATHERING – APRIL 15, 2018
