HERMITAGE BAPTIST CHURCH – REVIVAL – Feb. 28 – March 2, 2016
Pictured: Rev. Dr. Tom Stocks, (guest speaker for all services) and Rev. Edward Harrow, Pastor of Hermitage Baptist Church, welcoming Rev. Dr. Stocks to revival last night, Monday, February 29, 2016. Outstanding music by Hermitage choir and special guest music by: The Anointed Vessels. Message, “fishers of men” from Matthew Chapter 4, by Rev. Dr. Tom Stocks, guest speaker, was powerful. Revival began on Sunday, February 28 at 11:00 am service through Wednesday, March 2. Night services are at 7 pm.

Monday, January 5, Saluda BC hosted a Red Cross Blood Drive. Some of the folks seen in the below picture served as greeters, servers, and hosts for those who came to participate in this community blood drive. They provided perfect space, food, and drinks for those who donated. Well done Saluda BC for your willingness to be one of MTBA’s Serving churches. BAPTIST JOINT COMMITTEE COMES TO MTBA
The MTBA is please to announce that on Tuesday. February 16th, The Baptist Joint Committee For Religious Liberty will be our guests for a special Religious Liberty Conference. The conference will begin at 10:30 AM at Poroporone Baptist Church (view map below), to be followed by a luncheon.

MORE THAN NETS
A Ministry update and pancake breakfast fundraiser was held at Poroporone Baptist Church on October 31 at 8 am for all Mid-Tidewater Baptist Association churches. Those present were blessed with a hearty breakfast, followed by Pastor Emmanuel “Muss” Mustapha of Ghana who spoke of the progress made by More Than Nets Ministry. There have been 63,000 nets distributed in 250 Yendi villages (northern region of Ghana). We are at 63% fulfilling goal to distribute 100,000 nets. FALL ASSOCIATIONAL MEETING – OCTOBER 18, 2015
Dr. Ed Jordan, Pastor of Gwynn’s Island Baptist Church, welcomed everyone to 56th annual Fall meeting of the Mid-Tidewater Baptist Association.
