On September 22, 2018, there were 50,000 nutritious meals packed by over 200 volunteers from MTBA churches in partnership with Rise Against Hunger organization. Each meal of rice, soy, vegetables, vitamins and minerals feeds a family of six! Our Community Ministries Action Group chose this mission for 2018. Rise Against Hunger is driven by the vision of a world without hunger by 2030. A big thank you to Hermitage Baptist Church (Church View) who hosted this event! MTBA churches are located in the counties of Gloucester, King & Queen, Mathews, Middlesex, and Richmond.
